Júlia Karosi is a leading Hungarian jazz vocalist. After graduating from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, she founded her own quartet in 2010. Her discography includes albums such as "Stroller of the City Streets" (2012), "Hidden Roots" (2014), "Love Is Here to Stay" (2018), "Without Dimensions" (2020), and "Inner Voice" (2024). Karosi is known for her interpretations of works by Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály in a jazz context and has collaborated with artists like Ben Monder and Kristjan Randalu. She has received awards including the Lakatos Ablakos Dezső Scholarship (2017) and the Hungarian Academy of Arts Scholarship (2018).
