June of 44 is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Louisville, Kentucky, by former members of Rodan, Lungfish, Rex, and Hoover. Their music blends elements of post-hardcore, math rock, and post-rock. The debut album "Engine Takes to Water" was released in 1995, followed by "Tropics and Meridians" in 1996. In 1998, they released "Four Great Points," and in 1999, "Anahata." After disbanding in 1999, the band reunited in 2018 and released "Revisionist: Adaptations & Future Histories in the Time of Love and Survival" in 2020. The band members are Fred Erskine, Sean Meadows, Jeff Mueller, and Doug Scharin.
