Jussi Reijonen is a Finnish guitarist and oud player who grew up in various cultures, including Jordan, Tanzania, Oman, and Lebanon. His music blends elements of jazz, Middle Eastern maqamat, and African rhythms. He released his debut album "un | ان" in 2013, followed by "Three Seconds | Kolme Toista" in 2022. Reijonen has collaborated with artists such as Jack DeJohnette, Pepe de Lucía, and Simon Shaheen. He has performed at festivals and venues like the Lincoln Center and the Library of Congress in the USA, as well as in Europe and the Middle East.
