Kahvas Jute was an Australian progressive rock band formed in Sydney in 1970. The original lineup consisted of Dennis Wilson (guitar, vocals), Tim Gaze (guitar, vocals), Bob Daisley (bass guitar), and Dannie Davidson (drums). In January 1971, they released their sole studio album, "Wide Open," which became a classic of Australian progressive rock. After disbanding in 1972, members pursued various musical projects; Bob Daisley, for instance, collaborated with Ozzy Osbourne and Rainbow. The band reunited several times, releasing a live album, "The Quickening - Live And Studio Performances," in 2005.
