Kampfar is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1994 in Fredrikstad. Their music is inspired by Norwegian folklore and nature. The band has released nine studio albums, including 'Mellom skogkledde aaser' (1997), 'Fra underverdenen' (1999), 'Kvass' (2006), and 'Djevelmakt' (2014). Kampfar has won the Norwegian Grammy Award, Spellemannprisen, twice: for the album 'Profan' in 2015 and 'Til Klovers Takt' in 2022.
