Karel Zich (June 10, 1949 – July 13, 2004) was a Czech singer, guitarist, and composer. He came from a musical family and studied composition at the State Conservatory in Prague. From 1968 to 1973, he was a member of the group Spirituál kvintet. In 1974, he began his solo career, releasing his first album, 'Dům č. 5', in 1976. He collaborated with composers such as Karel Svoboda and Petr Janda. His well-known songs include 'Paráda' and 'Měla na očích brýle'. In 1979, he founded the group Flop, and in the 1980s, he collaborated with Wanda Jackson. He died of a heart attack during a diving trip in Corsica.
