cd - Karski Quartet
Karski Quartet is a Belgian string quartet founded in 2018 in Brussels. Its members are violinists Kaja Nowak and Natalia Kotarba, violist Diede Verpoest, and cellist Julia Kotarba. The quartet has gained recognition for its passionate interpretations of works ranging from Haydn to contemporary repertoire. In the 2023/24 season, they released an album of Boccherini string quintets with cellist Raphaël Feye and made debut performances in Germany and Poland. The quartet's name honors Jan Karski, the legendary World War II resistance figure.
