Kathy Smith was an American singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. She released her debut album, "Some Songs I've Saved," in 1970, followed by "Kathy Smith 2" in 1971. Her music blended psychedelic folk and jazz, and on her second album, she collaborated with musicians such as Jan Hammer, Warren Bernhardt, Tony Levin, Don Alias, and Jeremy Steig. "Kathy Smith 2" features tracks like "Fly Off With The Wind" and "For Emile." After releasing these two albums, she withdrew from the music scene.
