Keigo Hirakawa is a jazz pianist and professor of electrical engineering at the University of Dayton. Originally from Tokyo, he moved to the United States at age 11. He studied jazz at the New England Conservatory and has collaborated with musicians such as Eddie Brookshire and Fenton Sparks. His album "Pixel" was released in 2025. Hirakawa is known for blending science and music, with his research in image processing influencing his musical compositions.
