Këkht Aräkh is a Ukrainian black metal project founded in 2018 by Dmitry Marchenko in Mykolaiv. Marchenko, also known as Crying Orc, previously operated under the name Yokai before rebranding to Këkht Aräkh to explore a new approach to black metal. The debut album "Night & Love" (2019) and the follow-up "Pale Swordsman" (2021) blend raw elements of traditional black metal with melancholic ballads and ambient passages. The lyrics focus on themes of melancholy, love, and loss, with the music influenced by gothic aesthetics. The project has gained recognition for its unique style and signed with Sacred Bones Records in 2022. The products available from the artist Këkht Aräkh include vinyls.
