Kenji Miura is a Japanese pianist born in Kobe in 1993. He studied in the United Kingdom and Berlin, where he currently resides. In 2019, he won the Grand Prix at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition in Paris. His 2023 album "Identity" features works by French composers such as Franck, Ravel, and Debussy, as well as pieces by Japanese composer Tōru Takemitsu, who was influenced by French music. Miura's music explores the theme of identity in a multicultural society.
