Markeyvius LaShun Cathey, known professionally as Key Glock, is an American rapper and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. Born on August 3, 1997, he signed with Paper Route Empire in 2017, releasing his debut mixtape, "Glock Season," the same year. His first studio album, "Yellow Tape" (2020), reached number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart. This was followed by "Yellow Tape 2" (2021) and "Glockoma 2" (2023). In 2025, he released his fourth album, "Glockaveli." Key Glock is recognized for his contributions to the hip hop and trap genres and his collaborations with Young Dolph on "Dum and Dummer" (2019) and "Dum and Dummer 2" (2021).
