Kingfishr is an Irish indie folk band formed in 2022 in Limerick. The members are Eddie Keogh (vocals, guitar), Eoghan 'McGoo' McGrath (banjo), and Eoin 'Fitz' Fitzgibbon (bass guitar). Their debut single 'Flowers Fire' was released in 2022, followed by other singles like 'Eyes Don't Lie' and 'Anyway'. In 2023, they released a live album 'Live From Dublin', which reached number 5 on the Irish charts. Their song 'Killeagh' reached number 1 on the Irish Singles Chart in May 2025. The band has supported artists such as Bruce Springsteen, George Ezra, and Dermot Kennedy, and performed at festivals like Glastonbury and Electric Picnic. Their debut album 'Halcyon' is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025.
