Kit Armstrong is an American pianist and composer born in 1992 in California. He studied physics at California State University, chemistry and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, and mathematics at Imperial College London. In 2008, he earned a bachelor's degree in music from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and in 2012, a master's degree in pure mathematics from the University of Paris VI. Armstrong is known for his interpretations of works by composers such as William Byrd and John Bull, as evidenced by his 2021 album "The Visionaries of Piano Music" released under Deutsche Grammophon. His compositions are published by Edition Peters. In 2012, he purchased the Church of Sainte-Thérèse in Hirson, France, and transformed it into a cultural center for concerts and exhibitions.
