Kristen Strom is a saxophonist from the San Francisco Bay Area, known for her beautifully rendered melodies and exceptional musicianship. Over nearly two decades, she has collaborated with artists such as Manhattan Transfer, Gladys Knight, and Natalie Cole. In addition to her solo albums, including "Intention," "Sojourn," and "Moving Day: The Music of John Shifflett," she has recorded over 40 CDs with various jazz and pop artists. Her album "Moving Day" was included in the Best Jazz Albums of 2018 by the Mercury News. Kristen is also a faculty member at Santa Clara University, West Valley College, and the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
