Description

'Rubikon' is the fourth studio album by the Czech band Kryštof, released on October 13, 2006. Following the introspective 'Mikrokosmos,' the band opted for a lighter and more hit-oriented sound, blending elements of rock, soft rock, and Czechoslovak classics. The album was recorded at Bratislava's La Creative studio and the Richmond studio in the Krkonoše Mountains, with production by Richard Krajčo, Slavo Solovic, and Milan Adamec. Guest artists include Ondřej Brzobohatý (electric piano on 'Potok lávový'), rapper Marpo ('Sněhurky'), and singer Danica Jurčová ('Revizor'). 'Rubikon' is considered one of the best Czech albums in the mainstream scene.
