Krzysztof Komeda was a Polish jazz pianist and composer, renowned for his film scores and pioneering approach to European jazz. His 1965 album "Astigmatic" is considered one of the most significant European jazz albums. Komeda also composed music for Roman Polanski's films, including "Knife in the Water" and "Rosemary's Baby".
