Kvelertak is a Norwegian heavy metal band from Stavanger, formed in 2007. The band released their debut album "Kvelertak" in 2010, which sold over 15,000 copies in Norway. This was followed by "Meir" (2013), "Nattesferd" (2016), "Splid" (2020), and "Endling" (2023). Their music combines elements of rock and roll, black metal, and punk rock, with most lyrics in Norwegian. In 2011, they won two Spellemannprisen awards for Best Newcomer and Best Rock Band. In 2018, founding vocalist Erlend Hjelvik left the band and was replaced by Ivar Nikolaisen. The products available from the artist Kvelertak include vinyls.
