Kylesa is an American sludge metal band formed in 2001 in Savannah, Georgia. Their music blends elements of hardcore punk, psychedelic rock, and stoner metal. Notable albums include "To Walk a Middle Course" (2005), "Time Will Fuse Its Worth" (2006), and "Static Tensions" (2009). The band is known for employing two drummers and alternating vocals between Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants. In 2016, they announced an indefinite hiatus but revealed plans in 2024 to return to the live stage for their 25th anniversary.
