L.A. Guns is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by guitarist Tracii Guns. The band is known for its contribution to the glam metal genre and achieved commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their debut album, "L.A. Guns" (1988), and the follow-up "Cocked & Loaded" (1989) both achieved platinum status, with the latter featuring the hit "The Ballad of Jayne." Their third album, "Hollywood Vampires" (1991), continued their success. The band has undergone numerous lineup changes, with guitarist Tracii Guns and vocalist Phil Lewis remaining key members. L.A.
