L7 is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner. The band is known for its unique sound that blends elements of punk, metal, and grunge. Among their most notable albums is "Bricks Are Heavy" from 1992, featuring the hit "Pretend We're Dead". In 1994, they released "Hungry for Stink" with the song "Andres". L7 was also active in political activism; in 1991, they founded the organization Rock for Choice to support women's rights.
