Lael Neale is an American indie rock musician from Virginia. She has released four studio albums: "I'll Be Your Man" (2015), "Acquainted With Night" (2021), "Star Eaters Delight" (2023), and "Altogether Stranger" (2025). Her music is known for its minimalist approach, often utilizing the Omnichord and lo-fi production. "Acquainted With Night" was recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder, contributing to its raw sound. Neale moved from Los Angeles back to her family farm in Virginia during the 2020 pandemic, where she continued to create music. She is signed to Sub Pop Records.
