LAPêCHE is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2016 as Krista Holly Diem's solo project. It later expanded to include Dave Diem (bass), Drew DeMaio (guitar), and Colin Brooks (drums). Their music blends elements of post-punk, gothic rock, and shoegaze. The album "Autotelic," produced by Alex Newport, was recorded in Joshua Tree and released in January 2026 under the Tiny Engines label. The band is known for its emotive lyrics and energetic live performances.
