Larry Ochs is an American jazz saxophonist and composer, known as a co-founder of the Rova Saxophone Quartet and founder of Metalanguage Records. He studied trumpet but later focused on tenor and sopranino saxophones. Ochs has collaborated with notable musicians such as Steve Lacy, Fred Frith, and Anthony Braxton. His significant albums include "The Fictive Five" (2015) and "The Neon Truth" (2002). His music spans the genres of jazz and avant-garde jazz.
