Description

'THE UNDREAMT-OF CENTRE' is the fourth solo album by Australian drummer and composer Laurence Pike, offering a contemporary reimagining of the requiem. The album blends elements of modern classical music, Japanese ambient, electronics, and free jazz, drawing inspiration from Estonian choral traditions, particularly the works of composer Tõnu Kõrvits. The recording was produced in collaboration with the Vox Sydney Philharmonia Choir, conducted by composer Sam Lipman, and was captured in a 19th-century Gothic church. This edition is available on green vinyl.
