Lea Bertucci is an American composer and performer whose work explores the relationships between acoustic phenomena and biological resonance. In addition to playing woodwind instruments such as the alto saxophone and bass clarinet, she utilizes multi-channel speaker systems, electroacoustic feedback, extended performance techniques, and tape collage. Her discography includes several solo and collaborative albums on independent labels. In 2018, she released the critically acclaimed album "Metal Aether" on NNA Tapes. Bertucci has performed at various venues across the United States and Europe, including The Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Kitchen, and the Unsound Festival in Krakow. In 2016, she was a MacDowell Fellow in composition, and in 2015, an artist-in-residence at ISSUE Project Room. The products available from the artist Lea Bertucci include CDs.
