Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded by Claus Larsen on January 13, 1988. Its influence is most prominent in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Notable albums include "The Pleasure of Penetration" (1990), "Solitary Confinement" (1992), "Underneath the Laughter" (1993), and "Legacy of Hate and Lust" (1995). Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's Zoth Ommog record label. After Zoth Ommog's demise in 1999, Larsen signed with Bloodline Records and later with the Belgian label Alfa Matrix. In 2011, he announced his departure from Alfa Matrix to self-release future material.
