Leif de Leeuw Band is a Dutch blues rock group with influences from funk, soul, and fusion. Led by guitarist Leif de Leeuw, who studied at Codarts in Rotterdam and was influenced by artists like David Gilmour and Jeff Beck, the band has received accolades such as the Sena Young Talent Guitar Award in 2009 and 2013, and the European Blues Award for "Best Band" in 2015. Their 2016 album "Leelah" is named after transgender teenager Leelah Alcorn. In 2024, they released "Mighty Fine," which was included in the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik's Bestenliste 3/2024.
