Leif Ove Andsnes is a Norwegian pianist renowned for his lyrical interpretations and extensive repertoire. He studied at the Bergen Music Conservatory under Jiří Hlinka. Notable projects include "The Beethoven Journey," during which he led the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in complete cycles of Beethoven's piano concertos. He later collaborated with the same orchestra on "Mozart Momentum 1785/86," focusing on Mozart's piano concertos from 1785 and 1786. Andsnes has received multiple awards, including six Gramophone Awards, and was appointed Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.
