Les Fragments de la Nuit is a French ensemble founded in 2005 by Michel Villar (piano) and Ombeline Chardes (violin), both film score composers. The quintet comprises three violins, a cello, and a piano. Their music, ranging from tragic to epic and atmospheric, has been received with great enthusiasm. Their debut album, "Musique du Crépuscule," was released in 2008, followed by "Demain, c'était Hier" in 2010.
