Les Frères Déjean is a Haitian kompa band formed in 1963 in Pétion-Ville, Port-au-Prince. Led by Lyonel Déjean, the group released their first album, "Haïti," in 1974, followed by albums such as "Pa gain panne" (1975) and "International" (1976). Their 1977 album "Bouki ac Malice" features notable tracks "Débaké" and "Arrêté." Comprising mainly members of the Déjean family, the band significantly contributed to the popularization of Haitian music and influenced the professional approach to musical creation in the Caribbean.
