Leupold Trio is a chamber music ensemble founded in 2003, specializing in the interpretation of 17th and 18th-century music. The trio comprises Sören Leupold (chitarrone, baroque lute, guitar), Eva Stegeman (violin), and Wouter Mijnders (cello). They debuted at the International Guitar Festival 'SaitenSprünge' in Bad Aibling, Germany, and have since performed at prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, as well as festivals in Ravello, Granada, and Algeria. Their album 'Con Chitarrone' features Italian sonatas from the early Renaissance to the Baroque period.
