Life Without Buildings was a four-piece band from Glasgow formed in 1999. The band released only one album, "Any Other City," in 2001, which gained a cult following due to its unique blend of post-punk and indie rock elements. They are particularly known for their lead vocalist Sara Pockett's distinctive approach. After disbanding in 2002, they released a live album "Live at the Annandale Hotel.” Despite their brief existence, they made a significant impact on the indie rock scene. The band is often likened to groups such as Wire and Gang of Four, occasionally compared to rising acts like The Fall. The products available from the artist Life Without Buildings include vinyls.
