Lipstick Killers was an Australian rock band formed in 1978 in Sydney. Emerging from the bands Psycho Surgeons and Filth, their music was influenced by groups like The Stooges, MC5, and The New York Dolls. In 1979, they released the single "Hindu Gods of Love / Shakedown U.S.A.". In 1981, they relocated to Los Angeles, where they recorded the live album "Mesmerizer". The band disbanded in 1981. In 2021, a retrospective album titled "Strange Flash: Studio & Live '78–'81" was released.
