Lloyd / Bean is a musical duo comprising Robert Lloyd, known from the British post-punk band The Nightingales, and Janet Beveridge Bean from American bands Eleventh Dream Day and Freakwater. Their debut album, "Black Cat, Dark Horse," was recorded at Estudio Elefante in Valencia, Spain, and released on June 2, 2023, under the Tiny Global Productions label. The album features 11 tracks, including "Black Cat, Dark Horse," "Heavy Reckonings," and "Wake Up Baby." Musically, it spans the genres of rock, folk, and country. The recording also features contributions from Mark Bedford of Madness on bass guitar and Peter Byrchmore of The Nightingales on guitars and keyboards.
