Lloyd Price was an American singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, known as "Mr. Personality" after his 1959 hit "Personality". Born on March 9, 1933, in Kenner, Louisiana, his first hit "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" in 1952, featuring Fats Domino on piano, became a rock and roll staple. After returning from military service in Korea in 1954, he continued recording hits like "Stagger Lee" and "I'm Gonna Get Married". In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
