Local Natives is an American indie rock band formed in Orange County, California, and based in Los Angeles. The band originated in 2005 under the name Cavil at Rest and changed to Local Natives in 2008. Their debut album, "Gorilla Manor," was released in 2009 to positive reviews. Subsequent albums include "Hummingbird" (2013), "Sunlit Youth" (2016), "Violet Street" (2019), "Time Will Wait for No One" (2023), and "But I'll Wait for You" (2024). In April 2024, co-founder and multi-instrumentalist Kelcey Ayer announced his departure from the band. The products available from the artist Local Natives include vinyls, CDs.
