Lords of the Stone was a doom metal band formed in 1992 in the Netherlands. Their discography includes albums such as "The Rhymes of Bitterness" (1992), "Diamond in the Dust" (1994), and "Nightflowers" (1997). The band collaborated with producer Berthus Westerhuys at Franky's Recording Kitchen. Vocalist Martine van Loon, known from The Gathering, joined Lords of the Stone on the "Nightflowers" album.
