Loreena McKennitt is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for her music blending Celtic and world influences. Born in 1957 in Morden, Manitoba, she began her career in the 1980s and founded her own label, Quinlan Road, in 1985. Notable albums include "The Visit" (1991), "The Mask and Mirror" (1994), and "The Book of Secrets" (1997), featuring the hit "The Mummers' Dance."
