Love is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The original lineup included Arthur Lee (vocals, guitar), Bryan MacLean (guitar, vocals), Johnny Echols (guitar), Ken Forssi (bass guitar), and Alban "Snoopy" Pfisterer (drums). Their music blended genres such as psychedelic rock, folk rock, and garage rock. Their third album, "Forever Changes" (1967), is regarded as one of the most significant works of the 1960s. Despite limited commercial success, the band received critical acclaim. "Forever Changes" was added to the United States National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2011.
