Lovesliescrushing is an American musical duo from East Lansing, Michigan, formed in 1991. The duo consists of Scott Cortez (guitars, loops, effects) and Melissa Arpin-Duimstra (vocals). They are known for their dense and surreal psychedelic music drawing from shoegaze and dream pop genres, utilizing unorthodox instrumentation and minimal use of drums. Their debut album, "Bloweyelashwish," was released in 1994, followed by "Xuvetyn" in 1996. Subsequent albums include "Glissceule" (2002) and "Shiny Tiny Stars" (2012).
