Lowheaven is a Canadian post-metal band from Toronto, formed in the spring of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The band consists of Dan Thomson (vocals/guitar), Mikey Buchta (vocals/bass), and Alex Pley (guitar/keys). Their debut album, "Ritual Decay," was released on August 29, 2025, under MNRK Heavy. The album was produced by Brett Romnes and mastered by Magnus Lindberg. Musically, they draw inspiration from bands like Cave In and Deftones, blending elements of post-hardcore, screamo, and blackened noise. The album features ten tracks, including singles "Chemical Pattern" and "Mercy Death."
