Lowlife was a Scottish alternative rock band active from 1985 to 1997. The group was led by vocalist Craig Lorentson and included bassist Will Heggie, a founding member of Cocteau Twins. Their music blended elements of post-punk, dream pop, and alternative rock. Notable albums include "Permanent Sleep" (1986), "Diminuendo" (1987), and "Godhead" (1989). Although they never achieved mainstream popularity, they developed a cult following. During their career, they collaborated with producer Stephen Fellows of The Comsat Angels.
