Lucy Ann Polk was an American jazz singer known for her work with Les Brown's orchestra in the 1950s. Born on May 16, 1927, in Sandpoint, Idaho, she began her career in the family vocal group The Four Polks, later known as the Town Criers. Throughout her career, she collaborated with several prominent big bands, including those of Kay Kyser and Tommy Dorsey. From 1951 to 1954, she won the DownBeat Readers Poll for Best Girl Singer with Band four consecutive times. Notable recordings include her 1957 album "Lucky Lucy Ann." She passed away on October 10, 2011, in Glendale, California.
