M83 is a French electronic music project formed in 1999 by Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau in Antibes. After Fromageau's departure in 2004, Gonzalez continued as the primary member. Notable albums include "Before the Dawn Heals Us" (2005), "Saturdays = Youth" (2008), and "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" (2011), which features the hit "Midnight City". Their music blends genres such as synthpop, shoegaze, and ambient. M83 has also contributed to soundtracks, including the film "Oblivion" (2013).
