Madrugada is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in 1993 in Stokmarknes. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Sivert Høyem, guitarist Robert Burås, bassist Frode Jacobsen, and drummer Jon Lauvland Pettersen. Their debut album, "Industrial Silence" (1999), received critical acclaim. Subsequent albums include "The Nightly Disease" (2001), "Grit" (2002), and "The Deep End" (2005). Following Burås' death in 2007, the band released "Madrugada" in 2008 before disbanding. They reunited in 2018 and released "Chimes at Midnight" in 2022.
