Magnolia Electric Co. was an American rock band formed in 2003 by Jason Molina after dissolving his previous project, Songs: Ohia. The band released several albums, including "What Comes After the Blues" (2005), "Fading Trails" (2006), and "Josephine" (2009). Their music blended elements of rock, folk, and alternative rock. Jason Molina was known for his introspective lyrics and distinctive voice. The band ceased activity following Molina's death in 2013.
