Magnum is an English rock band formed in 1972 in Birmingham by guitarist Tony Clarkin and vocalist Bob Catley. Their breakthrough album, "On a Storyteller's Night," released in 1985, achieved gold status in the United Kingdom. In 1988, "Wings of Heaven" reached number 5 on the UK Albums Chart and featured three Top 40 singles: "Days of No Trust," "Start Talking Love," and "It Must Have Been Love." Throughout their career, the band released over 20 studio albums, with the latest, "Here Comes the Rain," released in January 2024, shortly after Tony Clarkin's death.
