Mahsa Vahdat is an Iranian singer born in 1973 in Tehran, renowned for her contributions to Persian classical and world music. She studied traditional Persian singing and setar playing, earning a bachelor's degree in music from Tehran University. After 1979, when women were prohibited from solo singing in public in Iran, she recorded her albums primarily abroad. Notable works include "I Am Eve" (2008) and "Scent of Reunion: Love Duets Across Civilizations" (2010), a collaboration with American blues singer Mighty Sam McClain.
