Malawi Mouse Boys is an eight-member group from Malawi known for their authentic gospel music. Their debut album, "He Is #1," was released in 2012 and produced by Ian Brennan. The group performs songs of faith and love, influenced by traditional Malawian music and American gospel. Members use simple instruments made from recycled materials. In addition to music, they earn a living by selling roasted mice on sticks, which inspired their name. Their music is the first release in the Chichewa language outside of Malawi.
